What it means
A dGrade refresh changed ratings after blocks were seeded, so the blocks still hold the old deal and may no longer be balanced. (A roster change — a new entrant, a withdrawal — marks the affected blocks with their own Snake order stale pill instead of this banner.) Either way, the tool flags rather than re-seeding behind your back.
The deliberate path
- On Format, open Review changes — it lists each affected player's old → new dGrade and how far they moved in the ranking.
- Decide: - Re-snake affected blocks — re-deals the flagged blocks to the fresh ranking; pairings and the schedule then need regenerating. - Dismiss — keeps the blocks as dealt. Re-snaking moves players between blocks, so once the draw is published or play has started it changes pairings people have already seen.
- If you re-snaked, Order of Play shows its own stale flag — Re-seed · keep times rebuilds each block's pairings while every game keeps its date, time and lawn.
Avoiding it
Refresh dGrades and settle the roster before seeding blocks, and set a dGrade cutoff date once seedings are announced — the flag then only ever appears for genuine roster changes.
