How do I…

Get results into the WCF ranking

Before the event

  1. Make it a real event — a test event's public results link serves nothing, and its scores are sandbox data.
  2. When adding players, take the search match to their WCF profile wherever one exists — linked players are what make results attributable to rankings.

During

  1. Score everything in Scoring. Record genuine walkovers as walkovers — they're excluded from the export automatically, which is what the ranking expects. Friendly extras between entrants go in as Z games; they count too, under their own section.

After

  1. Open WCF Export, Refresh, and check Included sections — singles games only; doubles never rank.
  2. Check the Tournament winner line — it's filled in when the top competition's championship final decided it, blank otherwise for you to complete — then Download WCF export and send the .xlsx.
  3. Mark the event complete on the header when it's over — dGrades stop refreshing and the event's record is fixed.
