The shape
Twelve players, one day: two blocks of 6 gives 5 games each — 30 block games. On two lawns at ~45 minutes a game that's roughly 11 hours of lawn time across the day; generating the schedule reports anything that didn't fit your actual hours.
Steps
- Create the event — one field, one winner; start and end on the same date.
- Details — tick your venue, make sure its lawns exist.
- Players — add the 12; give unranked players an estimated dGrade.
- Format — Blocks; take the ★ split (2 × 6); single 13-point games.
- Then what? — Block standings decide adds no games beyond the 30; A knockout adds more, so redo the lawn-time arithmetic before choosing it.
- Order of Play — generate pairings.
- Schedule — day start and end, game slot, generate. Read anything the solver flags.
- Print from Download Spreadsheet — daily schedule + score sheets.
- On the day: Scoring, from a phone at the lawn.
- After: Winners shows itself the next day, and the WCF export is ready if the event counts for ranking.
